Personal Statement

My name is Jake Roumbanis, I am a student-athlete attending Foothill High school in Pleasanton, CA.  I started playing basketball at an early age, which allowed me to develop a variety of skills along the way.  During my basketball journey, I have played for multiple AAU teams, trained with Point Guard College, and am currently a part of the Top Performance Basketball and Foothill High School basketball programs.  When playing basketball, I take pride in the intangibles I can control, whether it’s defense or chasing a rebound.  Along with intangibles, I work on my dribbling and shooting constantly, and have developed these as my strengths. I’m a strong defensive player. All of my coaches have told me that I am highly coachable, and I am always trying to further improve my game. In high school, I have been able to balance school and sports efficiently by staying on top of both my academics and athletic training.
